All members of Insiders are encouraged to introduce themselves in the #Introductions channel upon arrival. Give the community a short description of who you are and what you’re working on. Feel free to share what you are looking to get out of the community, as well.
We have a 0 tolerance policy for taking advantage of community members and the purpose with which they joined. We are here to connect, engage, share information, and bring support to one another. This should not be treated as a business development tool. If business comes from organic, high quality interactions - great! - but please be mindful of engaging in any of this behavior proactively.
We value expertise, but we also know that we grow in expertise by listening. Ask when you need to know something, and listen to the answers. Hear what’s being asked and share what you know for the asker’s benefit, not to promote yourself.

We do not tolerate harassment of participants in any form. Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.
Please don't talk about Axial Insiders in public. This is a private, invitation-only slack. It can cause awkwardness and hurt feelings if people start asking what it is and how to get invited. Further, harassers and abusers may be surveilling some members of this slack. Keeping the existence of this slack private makes it more difficult for bad actors to triangulate their targets' social footprints.

Please keep what's said in Axial Insiders confidential. Don't repeat or quote things said here without the affirmative consent of the speaker(s). When quoting (with consent), please be careful not to reveal the existence of Axial Insiders. Rather, you can refer to the quote as something that was said "in chat" or while you were talking to the quoted member.
If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact the admins. They'll respond as promptly as they can.
At our discretion, we may publicly name a person about whom we’ve received harassment complaints, or privately warn third parties about them. We will not name harassment victims without their affirmative consent.

If a participant engages in harassing behavior, the admins may take any action they deem appropriate, up to and including expulsion from this slack and identifying the participant publicly as someone about whom we've received complaints.
